FROM HOMESTAKE TO HAWAII


Albert worked as a miner at the Homestake Gold Mine in Lead from the mid 1920's to 1942, when he left to "go to Pearl Harbor on a defense job". His record and other training at Homestake was exemplary.


He was accompanied to Honolulu by several other men from the area

His work in the Red Hill Project in Hawaii was top secret, but he enjoyed Hawaii life

The Red Hill Project was an amazing project but was classified as top secret until 1995.
More information is now known:

When Al returned from Hawaii he brought back many souvenirs.
